Unfortunately Scootaround does not work with insurance, and this is a recreational scooter not considered as a medical device.

Unfortunately the battery cannot be upgraded.

Must you have a driver's license to operate this scooter?
Answer :
No, you do not need a drivers license for the products that we carry as these are generally sidewalk bound. However, you may want to check with your local authorities for operating machinery on the road.

Question :
How do you remove your batteries from the scooter?
Answer :
You would lift up the seat, then remove the plastic lining in the bin, and disconnect the cables. 4 Batteries will be exposed and you remove the wiring off the batteries as well and then remove your batteries.
